Carlo Nesti thanks everyone for their messages of support

Carlo Nesti revealed in recent days that he had contracted a very severe case of pneumonia: on his Facebook profile, the former RAI sports commentator explained that he had been forced to put his work on the YouTube channel NestiChannel on hold to focus on his recovery.
On Saturday evening, Nesti addressed the issue again: “Dear friends, there have already been several times since the beginning of 2026 when a message has appeared on this NESTI Channel regarding a postponement to the next day or the suspension of posts. Don’t be surprised, because the absence will always be explained, but the important thing is to know that it is a man in his late seventies who runs the page, entirely on his own, without sponsors.”
“Basically, if I’m not there, there’s no one. This ‘break,’ and I have no problem saying it, is also due to personal reasons, linked either to days when I can’t be available, or to days when it’s normal for the NESTI Channel—at 24 years old (it… unfortunately… not me!)—to take a little break.”
“The latest thing, which happened in recent days, is the BREAK caused by health reasons, never announced with fanfare, because I hope to God that a certain kind of fanfare doesn’t interest him. And not you either, since I have nothing to do with Brad Pitt. Hugs! Thanks to all the publications that have covered me.”
