Wimbledon: Jannik Sinner Has a Message for His Fans

Jannik Sinner’s victory over Alexander Zverev is destined to go down in history: after more than three and a half hours of battle, the Italian managed to defeat the German and win the Wimbledon tournament for the second consecutive time.
After his triumph, the Italian tennis player wanted to send a message to his fans via a social media post: “We did it again. Thank you all for the love and support,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself holding the Wimbledon trophy.
CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio traveled to the English capital to watch the match: “It’s one of the greatest emotions I’ve ever experienced in my career as an executive. I saw an athlete who never leaves anything to chance, thanks to his determination and professionalism.”
“In short, a man of steel who never gives up. Even here on English soil, Sinner has made us proud to be Italian. Jannik is an example for all our young people, and this victory confirms that we have phenomenal champions.”
“And Italian sports are proving that we’re major players in every discipline. Congratulations to tennis, the Federation, and President Binaghi for this memorable success. It was my first time at Wimbledon, and I’d say I at least brought some luck,” concluded Buonfiglio.
