Juventus continues to be active in the transfer market, but following the latest signings, Giovanni Carnevali and Frederic Massara are also focusing on player departures. The arrival of Jhon Lucumí has further reduced playing time in the defense for Daniele Rugani, who has returned from his loan at Fiorentina and is now looking for a new club.

The defender, born in 1994 and previously linked with Udinese, was supposed to take the field in the second half during the celebration at Allianz Stadium against Juventus Next Gen, but the peaceful invasion by fans led to the match ending early. For Rugani, however, the future seems increasingly distant from Turin.

Monza, newly promoted to Serie A and looking to bolster its defense (there has also been talk of Acerbi), has made a move for the Juventus center-back. In recent hours, however, Lazio has also entered the fray, having inquired about the player after previously sounding out Juventus regarding Fabio Miretti. The Biancocelesti are coming off a difficult start to the season, which culminated in their elimination from the Coppa Italia at the hands of Mantova. Gennaro Gattuso is therefore looking for experienced players, and Rugani could be a good fit for the team’s needs.

Juventus, for its part, is awaiting concrete offers for the defender, who is no longer part of Luciano Spalletti’s plans. The center back is under contract with the Bianconeri through June 30, 2028, but the club is ready to consider a solution that would allow him to get more playing time. Last season, Rugani played a total of just 350 minutes before his loan to Fiorentina, an experience that did not yield the hoped-for results. In total, the defender has played 157 matches for Juventus, scoring 11 goals and providing one assist.
