2026-2027 Premier League: Fulham vs. Chelsea, Probable Lineups

Fulham and Chelsea face off at 9 p.m. in the London derby on Matchday 1 of the 2026/2027 Premier League season. Interestingly, both teams’ benches feature former Real Madrid coaches from last season: Arbeloa and Xabi Alonso.

In his pre-match press conference, Alonso focused on Palmer, whom he hopes will return to form after a difficult season: “Cole is determined to enjoy soccer. He wants to be in shape. He wants to feel healthy. He wants to have a good rapport with his teammates. And I told him that if we have this version of Cole—if he finds the right rhythm in the game and meshes well with his teammates—I’m sure his level will be very high, I’d say world-class, and that he’ll have a great season.”
