The 2003-born player is no longer a key part of the Catalan club’s future plans, and they have reportedly put him on the market.

Balde’s agent is none other than Jorge Mendes, the Portuguese super-agent who has close ties with the Rossoneri and could soon propose him to the Diavolo, according to calciomercato.com. Should he join, the Milan club would likely have to part ways with either Davide Bartesaghi or Pervis Estupinan, while new signing Diego Moreira could shift to the right wing as an alternative to Chukwueze. In particular, the sale of Estupinan—who is still being pursued by several Premier League clubs—could pave the way for a potential signing in that position.

Alejandro Balde, who has played 168 games for Barcelona, was not called up for the last match against Elche: another sign of a possible departure for the player, who, on the contrary, is reportedly eager to stay and fight for his spot. Balde has also been linked to Manchester United.

Mendes is a central figure in Milan’s transfer dealings this summer: he is the same agent who represents Rafael Leao, whose future with the Rossoneri remains to be determined, with the club unwilling to accept less than 50 million euros for his transfer.
