Langston Galloway Returns to Italy Thanks to Trieste

Pallacanestro Trieste has pulled off a major coup by signing Langston Galloway, a highly experienced player who is returning to Serie A. The American guard, born in 1991, arrives after playing nearly the entire last season in Turkey with Esenler Erokspor, where he averaged around 9 points per game. He previously played for the Trapani Sharks.

Having developed his basketball skills in college with the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, Galloway boasts a resume of the highest caliber. His NBA career includes over 450 games with various franchises, including the New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, and Brooklyn Nets. In the United States, he stood out in particular for his threat from three-point range, combined with defensive intensity, experience, and personality.

His first experience with Italian basketball was particularly positive. With Pallacanestro Reggiana, he quickly carved out a leading role, becoming one of Serie A’s most prolific scorers and proving he could take the team by the reins even in the most critical moments of games.

This was followed by his stint in Trapani, another stop on his Italian journey where he reaffirmed his offensive prowess. Now Galloway is starting anew in Trieste, which is adding an experienced player to its roster—one capable of delivering points, leadership, and a threat from the perimeter.
