Vincenzo Di Viccaro will wear the Nerazzurri jersey

Benacquista Assicurazioni Latina Basket is adding experience and quality to its DR1 roster ahead of the 2026–27 season. Vincenzo Di Viccaro will don the Nerazzurri jersey, bringing to the team a long career on Italian courts and a wealth of experience gained throughout his career.
A guard born in 1984, standing 192 centimeters tall, and originally from Anzio, Di Viccaro has spent most of his career playing in Serie B and higher divisions, representing numerous Italian clubs. Among his most significant stints were his time in Agrigento, where over the course of three seasons he contributed to a two-tier promotion from DNB to A2, and his time with Montegranaro, which culminated in promotion to A2 during the 2016–17 season.
More recently, Di Viccaro has also had important stints in the Lazio region, culminating in the season he played with Fortitudo Cisterna, where he shared the court with Marco D’Anolfo and was reunited with Fabio De Bernardis as the team’s head coach. This experience culminated in winning the DR1 championship and promotion to Serie C Unica, but above all, it fostered personal relationships and a shared set of values that are destined to endure.
It is also these relationships that led to Di Viccaro’s decision to join the Benacquista project today.
