Volleyball Star Stickers Are Coming: Historic Agreement Between the League and Panini

“Panini and Lega Pallavolo Serie A are proud to announce the signing of an exclusive multi-year agreement for the creation of collectible publications and digital editions covering the SuperLega Credem Banca, the Credem Banca Serie A2, and the Credem Banca Serie A3,” reads the opening of the press release in which the Modena-based company confirmed its entry into the world of volleyball.

In fact, this confirms that Italian volleyball has become “worthy” of joining the ranks of sports that Panini “chronicles” through specially designed publications, particularly sticker albums.

Massimo Righi, chairman of the board of directors of the Serie A Volleyball League, is decidedly pleased: “We are certain that the public will welcome this initiative with enthusiasm: for younger fans, it will be an opportunity to discover the ritual and charm of collecting for the first time, while those who grew up with stickers will be able to relive those emotions through the SuperLega champions.”

“The official collection of the Serie A Volleyball League, produced by Panini, will be unveiled soon and will be at the heart of a broader project: together with Panini, we are in fact planning a series of initiatives tied to the collection, designed to further engage fans and attract new audiences to our sport. It’s a collaboration we strongly believe in, one that will allow us to showcase the SuperLega and its stars in a new, accessible way that resonates with all generations,” the president added.
