On Tuesday evening at 8:45 p.m., Belarus and Finland will face off at the Illovszky Rudolf Stadium in Budapest on Matchday 4 of Group I in Nations League C. In the first leg, the two teams played to a 0-0 draw, in line with their previous encounters: four out of six matches have ended in a draw.

Buoyed by their impressive victory over San Marino, Viktor Goncharenko’s team is determined to win in order to catch up with Finland in Group I, and to do so, they will rely on the attacking duo of Simanenka and Melnichenko.

Kontsevoy and Gromyko will patrol the flanks, with Ebong Ngome and Yablonski in the middle. Pavlyuchenko will start in goal, with Begunov, Volkov, Gomanov, and Pechenin in front of him.

Finland currently leads the group with 7 points, one more than Albania, which lost 2-1 in the last round. Head coach Friis will rely on the skills of Palermo striker Pohjanpalo, who will be supported in the attacking trio by Hakans and Svanbäck.

The Royal Owls’ three-man midfield will feature Walta, Markhiyev, and Kairinen. The four-man defense consists of Stahl, S. Miettinen, I. Miettinen, and Lähteenmäki in front of veteran goalkeeper Hradecky.
