Tragedy in Arcore: Cyclist Killed in Accident at Roundabout

Tragedy in Arcore, along Provincial Road SP45: A 51-year-old cyclist died after being struck by a car near the Bergamina roundabout.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m. on Thursday morning; emergency services were immediately dispatched, and the Carabinieri, police, and an ambulance arrived on the scene promptly. The man received prompt medical attention, but it was too late: his injuries and trauma were too severe, and he died before reaching the hospital.

The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Monza Company and local police officers. As reported by the Regional Emergency Agency, a rescue helicopter from Como was also dispatched.

Following the accident, traffic was blocked for some time, causing long traffic jams. The fire department secured the roadway.
