Treviso Basket: Riccardo Pittis Is the New President; Rodolfo Bigolin Is the CEO
Riccardo Pittis is the new president of Universo Treviso Basket. The appointment was made during the shareholders’ meeting of the Veneto-based club, which convened to address two important items on the agenda: the approval of the financial statements for the 2025–2026 season and the renewal of the Board of Directors. It was a significant day for the Treviso-based club, which has thus defined its management structure for the next two years.
The first item on the agenda was the review of the financial statements for the 2025/2026 season, which officially closed on June 30, 2026. The members present analyzed the financial statements and approved their contents, thereby fulfilling one of the fundamental requirements for corporate governance. Subsequently, attention turned to the composition of the new board of directors, which will lead Universo Treviso Basket over the next two years.
The main change concerns the presidency, which has been entrusted to Riccardo Pittis, a highly respected figure in the history of Italian basketball who has particularly strong ties to Treviso’s basketball tradition. The former champion thus assumes a leading role in the club’s governance, putting his experience and knowledge of the sport at the service of the club. At his side, in the role of vice president, will be Tazio Mazzocato.
The new Board of Directors will be rounded out by Matteo Contento, Rodolfo Bigolin, and Marco Fabbrini, who have been appointed as board members. Bigolin will also be entrusted with the role of CEO, a responsibility that will see him involved in the club’s day-to-day operations. The new composition of the club’s leadership thus establishes a clear distribution of roles, with Pittis as chairman, Mazzocato as vice chairman, and Bigolin in the dual role of board member and CEO.
The Board of Directors’ term will last two years. With the approval of the financial statements and the establishment of the new roles, Universo Treviso Basket has completed an important step in its corporate organization. Attention now turns to the work ahead for the new leadership, which is tasked with guiding the club’s athletic and managerial trajectory. For Pittis, in particular, a new chapter begins in his relationship with Treviso basketball—this time not on the court, but at the helm of the club.
