On Saturday night, Milan will face Inter in a match for the 10th round of Serie A. The Rossoneri are coming off a tough loss to Bologna and are looking to bounce back; Cristian Chivu’s team must win to stay in the title race with Gennaro Gattuso’s Lazio, which faces Cagliari on Sunday.

Kickoff for the Milan-Inter derby is scheduled for 8:45 p.m., and the match will be broadcast on DAZN, NOW TV, SKY Go Italia, Sky Sport 251, Sky Sport 4K, Sky Sport Calcio, and Sky Sport Uno.

Milan is confident that Mario Gila will be fit to play, and he is expected to start at right back. The former Lazio player’s absence in recent matches has been felt, and Ruben Amorim does not want to do without him for the derby. De Winter, Pavlovic, and the very young Diawara will round out the defense. Moreira and Pulisic will man the flanks, with Modric and Musah in the middle and Rabiot playing further forward to support Ramos.

Chivu will rely on the Esposito-Thuram duo to break through Milan’s defense, with Dimarco, Mkhitaryan, Calhanoglu, Barella, and Diouf behind them. In defense, Akanji will partner with Bastoni and Bisseck, with Martinez in goal.

At the press conference, Chivu described the match against Milan as follows: “There’s pressure on everyone; we know what it means to win or lose a derby, but we mustn’t burden ourselves with things that drain our energy. The standings don’t matter; what matters is doing everything we can to win.”

Here’s what Ruben Amorim had to say: “In my view, Inter can play with their eyes closed; they rotate their lineup—as they did in the last game in midfield—and continue to perform exactly the same way. Certain individual roles may change, but they already know what to do on the field even without needing to practice too much. They have an extraordinary ability to read the flow of the game.”
