A one-sided Malaysian Grand Prix crowns Marc Marquez, who took the lead and pulled away at Sepang, making himself uncatchable for any rival. The Spaniard dominated and won Sunday’s race, building a lead of nearly five seconds; Acosta and Alex Marquez took the other podium spots, while Bezzecchi finished sixth after a duel and contact with Ogura. On the eve of the controversial Qatar Grand Prix, Marquez has his first chance to clinch the World Championship: he leads the injured Jorge Martin by 44 points.

A show of strength by the Ducati rider, who gave his rivals no room to maneuver and managed the race with great authority. After securing second place in Saturday’s Sprint race, Marquez shifted into high gear in the main event, immediately taking the lead and gradually building an insurmountable margin. Behind him, Pedro Acosta finished in second place, while his brother Alex Marquez rounded out the podium.

It was a more challenging day for Marco Bezzecchi. The Aprilia rider, who started from fifth on the grid and arrived at Sepang aiming for another strong finish, ended up in sixth place. The duel with Ai Ogura proved decisive, culminating in a collision that affected his race and prevented him from joining the fight for the podium.

The result in Malaysia takes on even greater significance in terms of the world championship. Marquez can, in fact, head into the next round in Qatar with the chance to mathematically clinch the title. The Spaniard holds a 44-point lead over Jorge Martin, who is still dealing with physical issues following his crash in Australia.
