Fabio Caressa vs. Antonio Cassano, yet another round: "What a fiasco"
Again Fabio Caressa against Antonio Cassano: after yet another invective from the former Bari striker, the Sky commentator and journalist sent a torpedo via his Youtube channel, also targeting Daniele Adani, who joins Cassano in the Viva el Fútbol broadcast.
Cassano in the aftermath of the Azzurri’s debacle in Bosnia had harshly attacked Caressa and other journalists who he said would work to bring Massimiliano Allegri to the national team: “But aren’t you ashamed, don’t you have dignity? You have zero dignity. You with your friends, the Caressa’s, the Bergomi’s, the Zazzaroni’s and the Sabatini’s should be ashamed of yourselves: you are leading soccer into the abyss with your sucking up to the left and the right.”
Caressa on Youtube responded thus to those who asked for a retort to Cassano: “But excuse me, but if you were walking on a street and on the other sidewalk there is someone who yells unhinged insults at you, but what do you do? Do you stop and talk to him? But no, you pull straight, you look at him with surprise and you think, ‘Holy shit, what a mess,’ but this is what he looks like?”
The Sky journalist then brought up Adani, without ever naming him: “Are we sure that RAI, a public service, which has decades and decades of history of communication, of journalism, not only in sports, but also in glorious sports, which has taught those of my generation how to do this job with extraordinary characters… Are we sure that it is right for this company that accepts that one of its important representatives is present weekly in a place where people are regularly insulted without him saying anything, where he also insults people every now and then as it happened?”.
“Are we really sure? Because every company has rules of behavior. I don’t give lessons to anyone, I never gave them. I certainly don’t start at my age. But it’s not enough to change hats because the brands we represent, wherever we go, we wear them here on our chests as team brands.”
