Laila Hasanovic has won over many but not everyone in Monte Carlo: the Danish model, girlfriend of the new number one in the ATP rankings Jannik Sinner, has been accused by some users on social media of being rather cold and aloof. A judgment that did not find Elena Santarelli absolutely in agreement, who on Instagram dedicated a thought to the model: “To me she gave a beautiful impression,” wrote the Italian show girl.

“I got to know her a few days ago. She is discreet, humble, easygoing, helpful dilce, nice, composed and chic, never out of place.” Santarelli published the post with a photo of the embrace between Sinner and a beaming Laila at the end of the final won against Carlos Alcaraz: “I think she is the right girl for a great champion. She’s there, but she doesn’t want to be the one who rushes. She gave me a beautiful impression,” concluded the host and wife of former soccer player Bernardo Corradi.

The Danish model, who was present in the South Tyrolean tennis player’s box throughout the tournament, attracted the attention of many and is the darling of Sinner’s fans, who consider her a real good luck charm for Jannik. Laila Hasanovic and Jannik Sinner have kept a low profile since the beginning of their affair in 2025: on social media there are only photos of her work and never of her private life with the Italian champion. The same is true for Sinner, who even in previous relationships with Maria Braccini and Anna Kalinskaya has always preferred to remain very private.

Laila’s presence was not the only colorful note in Sinner’s box during the tournament. In the quarterfinals against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, Formula One driver George Russell, accompanied by his partner Carmen Montero Mundt, also showed up at the Ranieri III Country Club. The Mercedes driver, who usually lives right in Monte Carlo, wanted to cheer on his friend Jannik by taking advantage of the F1 World Championship break. “We are good friends and I was glad he was in my box,” Sinner said after the match. “When I went to the Grand Prix he invited me to his box. We are more than good friends; we support each other.”
