Javier Mascherano has decided to resign as coach of Inter Miami CF for personal reasons. These are the words of the Argentine technician in the Major League Soccer club’s statement, “I would like to inform everyone that, for personal reasons, I have decided to end my tenure as coach of Inter Miami CF.”

“First of all, I would like to thank the club for the trust placed in me, all the employees who are part of the organization for their collective commitment, but especially the players, who have allowed us to experience unforgettable moments. I also want to thank the fans and La Familia, because none of this would have been possible without them. I will always carry with me the memory of our first star and, wherever I am, I will continue to wish the Company all the best for the future. I have no doubt that the Society will continue to achieve success in the future. A big hug to everyone and thank you for everything,” the note ends.

During his stewardship, Mascherano has guided the team in which Lionel Messi plays to two titles (including historic success in MLS) and participation in the new Club World Cup.
