Trent holds on to Toto Forray

The Dolomiti Energia Trentino announced the contract renewal of Toto Forray. The bianconero captain will continue his journey with L’Aquila until June 30, 2027, continuing a story that goes far beyond the parquet.

Who arrived in Trento in February 2011, Toto has accompanied and embodied every step of the club’s growth: from the B1 Series to the promotion to A2, passing through the Coppa Italia conquered in 2013 in Forlì. From the following season he became captain, becoming the reference point of a group that would later write indelible pages, such as the historic promotion to Serie A.

Over the years, Forray has been the protagonist of the most important moments in bianconera history: two Scudetto finals, a semifinal and a EuroCup quarterfinal, up to the Coppa Italia won last season in Turin, lifted precisely by him.

He will soon reach 700 appearances with the L’Aquila jersey, a milestone that tells better than any words his bond with these colors. On Jan. 14, 2025, he also wrote another page of history, becoming the player with the most appearances ever in the EuroCup: today he leads the all-time list with 159 games.

For Trento and its fans, Toto Forray is not simply a captain: he is a staple, a constant presence, an example of what it means to build something over time with dedication and a sense of belonging.

“It was natural to find an agreement and I am grateful for the trust shown to me. As always, I will try to repay it in the best way possible, giving everything for this jersey. Next will be my 16th season in bianconero: these are numbers that make me really proud. Over the years I have always tried to contribute to the growth of the team, on and off the field, and I will continue to do so in the future. My goal remains the same: to always be ready, be available to my teammates and put the team in front of everything,” Forray said.
