Champions: Bayern eliminates Real after stellar match, blancos furious with referee'ref. Arsenal ok

Bayern Munich eliminated Real Madrid at the end of a spectacular match played at the Allianz Arena. The German champions beat the Blancos 4-3 (with refereeing controversy) and qualified for the semifinals after also winning the first leg match 2-1 in Madrid. Kompany’s team will face in the next round defending champions PSG, who eliminated Liverpool on Tuesday. In the evening’s other match, a 0-0 draw was enough for Arsenal to qualify for the semifinals by virtue of a 1-0 first-leg win at Sporting Lisbon.Arteta’s team will take on Simeone’s Atletico Madrid for a place in the final.

A memorable match is staged in Munich. Real Madrid is on a great night and takes advantage early on of Neuer’s incredible mistake on disengagement, who blunders and serves Guler who from 40 meters pierces him after just 50 seconds.
