Milan backs to the wall, first Scudetto match point for Conegliano

Conegliano

Milan Numia Vero Volleyball will play it all on Sunday, April 19 at 6 p.m. (live coverage by Rai Sport, DAZN and VBTV) in game-3 of the Scudetto Final against Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, a challenge that could already deliver the title.

The series is in fact on 2-0 for the Venetian women, who at Palaverde have at their disposal the first match point to close the accounts and sew on the ninth Scudetto. On the other side of the net, Egonu and her teammates are called to the feat: win to keep alive the race for the tricolor and bring the series back to Milan.

The Panthers arrive at the appointment strong from the net 3-0 in game-2, a virtually flawless performance that confirmed their state of form. Milan, on the other hand, after giving the Venetian champions a hard time in the first act of the series, will have to find exactly that version again to stay hooked to the final.

For coach Lavarini’s team, the quality of the wall-defense system, combined with an effective and continuous attack, capable of unhinging the solid Gialloblù organization, will be crucial. The contribution of the entire group, including the players from the bench, will also be needed to try to overturn a series that now hangs all on Conegliano’s side.
