In the Italian A series of basketball, which also last weekend provided excitement, we are heading toward the final rush: there is still relegation to be assigned and there are still two playoff spots available. With Trapani having known its fate for months, there are three teams in danger of changing category: the one worse off is definitely Dinamo Sassari, which has only two matches (among other complicated ones) to play and is at a disadvantage in the direct clashes with Treviso. Cantù, by winning the derby with Varese, has taken a further step forward.

As for the playoffs, Bologna, Brescia, Milan, Venice, Tortona and Reggio Emilia are already qualified: here is the schedule of the pretenders to the last two places in the sun.
