F1, again Mazepin against Mick Schumacher: heavy words

Another tough tussle between the two Haas drivers.
New sparks between the two Haas drivers, Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher, after the official practice of the Dutch Grand Prix. The Russian driver strongly complained about his teammate’s behavior on the track, which he said ruined his qualifying lap: a tussle that also involved Sebastian Vettel in spite of himself, who paid for it with immediate elimination in Q3.
The two drivers were both summoned by the stewards for explanations. Mazepin is furious on F1’s official website, “I’m really annoyed, to be honest. It shouldn’t have been so difficult traffic-wise, there are rules in Formula 1 teams. One weekend a driver goes out as the first car, the next weekend as the second car. This weekend it was my turn to be the first car. At Imola once I overtook the car in front when I was behind and was called back by the team. Now this is the second time it’s happened to me, with my teammate overtaking me and then pushing me back into traffic, fo…ing my last attempt in qualifying. And he does it on purpose.”
“I have already talked to the team and they agree,” Mazepin assured. Schumacher, on the other hand, defended himself this way: “I am happy that I did everything the right way. I talked about it over the radio. Both of us were in a situation that was not ideal. The last corner was not easy, Sebastian is really the last person I would like to block in the grid. Nikita? What happened before had always been different situations. In this one there is no reason to complain. I don’t know what else to say.”
