Leonardo Semplici shakes up Spal

Last place in the standings and the hunt for market reinforcements are the most pressing concerns for Spal’s managers and fans, however, awaiting the challenge against AC Milan in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia.
Leonardo Semplici is calling for a show of pride from his team ahead of the away match at San Siro, where Spal will also appear very much re-staffed, without Missiroli disqualified, Felipe, Petagna and Reca injured and with Cionek and Valoti in doubt.
“Despite the many problems we will do everything possible to try to get through the round. Milan have regained enthusiasm, thanks to the arrival of Ibrahimovic, we will have to repeat the performance against Fiorentina,” the words of Semplici, who then tried to boost the morale of the group.
“We must not cry on ourselves for an undeserved defeat, we must put aside that negativity that surrounds us. It’s like there’s this Fantozzi cloud hovering over our heads. We need to get going again quickly. There is no more time to lose.”
