Valentino Rossi announces: "In Aragon I will be there"

Now it’s official: Valentino Rossi will fly to Aragon. To know if he will be able to take to the track, however, we will have to wait until Thursday, when the circuit’s medical director will decide whether to give him fitness to run the first free practice.
“Fortunately Tuesday I had a good test with my Yamaha R1 in Misano – commented the Dottore -: I had also tried the day before, but the rain had stopped me after a few laps. Yesterday I was able to complete 20 laps and find the answers I was looking for. In the end, the test was positive and I thank Dr. Lucidi and his staff who helped me find the best solutions to feel the least possible pain in my leg while riding. Of course at the end of the test I had some pain, but this morning (Wednesday, ed.) I went to Dr. Pascarella for a medical checkup, and a positive result came out. In the end I decided to leave for Aragon and I will try to ride my M1 over the weekend. If I am declared fit to race, I will have the real answer after Free Practice 1 because riding the M1 is a bigger challenge. We’ll see. I’ll see you in Aragon.”
The Doctor missed the Misano GP due to a fractured fibula and tibia suffered Aug. 31 in enduro training.
