“I am really happy for this great opportunity that has been presented to me and I am ready to take this challenge with great enthusiasm – Marco Legovich’s comment – It is one of those trains that you have to catch on the fly. For this reason I would like to thank President Mario Ghiacci, the Board of Directors and the members of Pallacanestro Trieste for the trust they have shown in me: in these years I have worked hard to realize a dream and to see it now materialize is something that gratifies me. Being the Head Coach of Pallacanestro Trieste is a great responsibility for me, but also a source of great pride. As a Triestine I am deeply attached to the club, the city, the fans and what we have managed to build over the years. In this new adventure I will bring with me all the lessons I have received from the people with whom I have shared everything starting back in August 2015, when I began my coaching journey in Pallacanestro Trieste. We are hard at work building next year’s team and Staff: I can’t wait for the preparations to come so I can take the court with Staff and players and lay the foundation for a very important season.”

Marco Legovich is over the moon: Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste has announced that it has signed a two-year head coaching contract with him. Born in Trieste on September 15, 1992, he made his debut on the bench of Pallacanestro Trieste in the 2015-2016 championship as a third coach, a role he then held for five seasons. In 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 he served as assistant coach.
