Dinamo Sassari, salvation is far but not impossible: all combinations

Five wins in the last six games have overturned the Serie A salvation race for Treviso in just a few weeks and, with two days to go, Dinamo Sassari now sees Serie A2 after 16 years in the top division.
The Nutribullet’s blow at home to Brescia, the third team capable of beating Germani at home, is worth a +2 for the Venetians (with the direct clashes in their favor) over the Sardinians coached by Veljko Mrsic, who would have to accomplish a real “mission impossible” to save themselves.
In the last two games of the regular season, Dinamo faces the top of the class: Virtus Bologna at home and Brescia away. Two wins would be needed for Marshall and his teammates, who will come to the challenge against the defending Italian champions after the week-long stop.
Here are the scenarios:
– Sassari (14 points) needs to win both games (at home against Virtus Bologna, the new lone leader, and then at Brescia, which could still be in the running for the top spot) while Treviso (16 points) should lose both (next Sunday away against Cantù, still not mathematically safe, and then at home against Reggio Emilia, already qualified for the playoffs).
– Three-team finish: Sassari (14 points), Cantù (18 points), Treviso (16 points). In this case, the avulse ranking would reward Dinamo and Treviso in order, while relegated would be the Canturini, penalized especially by the -16 suffered against Banco di Sardegna at PalaSerradimigni. Cantù, after the game with Treviso, would observe a bye on the last day. Even in this scenario, Sassari would have to win both games and Cantù would still have to lose to Nutribullet.
