Torino market: the auction in England for a granata jewel is unleashed

Having successfully archived the salvation discourse, Torino is beginning to outline its strategies in view of the upcoming summer market. A lot will depend on who will lead the granata next season: should Roberto D’Aversa be confirmed, some players would have a better chance of leaving than others.
Aieu Njie is also among them: according to the newspaper La Stampa, Torino’s young jewel has ended up in the sights of some clubs from across the Channel, in particular Wolverhampton and Stoke City. The 20-year-old striker this season has slowly carved out his space in the first team, playing 11 games, but his role as an outside player is penalized in D’Aversa’s module and he could leave Italy in the summer if the right offer arrives.
Both Wolverhampton and Stoke City are looking for young talent and Njie fits perfectly into their identikit. Torino remains at the window waiting for offers: it could say yes if a convincing proposal arrives. Njie has a contract with Torino until June 2029, with an option to extend for another season.
Of Swedish nationality and Gambian descent, Njie was signed by Torino in 2021 and made his first-team debut in 2024. Since 2024, he has been playing permanently for the Swedish Under-21 national team.
