Fever stops Samir Handanovic. The Nerazzurri goalkeeper has left the Inter training camp due to a flu attack that will prevent him from being on the pitch on Sunday evening in the delicate home match against Palermo.
Defending the posts of the ‘Beneamata’ will therefore be Juan Pablo Carrizo, the cup goalkeeper. “Flu attack for Samir Handanovic who has left the training camp. He will not be at Roberto Mancini’s disposal for Inter-Palermo,” reads the Meneghina club’s Twitter profile.
Instead, Inter will reunite with Mauro Icardi, who will return to a starting jersey against the Rosanero after being excluded from the Coppa Italia match against Juventus.
