Olimpia Milano played its last challenge at the Forum, at least as far as the regular season is concerned. The biancorossi got rid of Pallacanestro Trieste. Coach Poeta now has pretty clear ideas about the rotations, also because the play-offs are just around the corner.

Unfortunately, in coach Poeta’s rotations, there is no room, at least for the moment, for Tonut. The Italian, in the game against Trieste, remained on the bench for the entire game, not taking the court for even a minute. It is not the first time that the azure has not found space, especially in these last games.

In the post-game, coach Poeta explained why he made this painful choice: “He is a guy I am very fond of. I also played with him in the national team, he is a serious professional and he knows that when he is needed he will go on the court with all my trust. Right now, it doesn’t happen because with four foreigners in the roles of 2 and 3, all needing to play important minutes, it is impossible to expand the rotation beyond the current six players,” the clear words of the red and white coach.

In short, for now, no Tonut but, sooner or later, he will get his chance. Coach Poeta’s confidence is intact, despite the fact that he is not playing him.
