Genoa-Milan suspended for a few minutes after objects and smoke bombs were thrown on the pitch during the second half of the match between the Grifone and the Rossoneri, valid for the 37th day of Serie A and decisive for the Diavolo’s Champions League sprint.
After Nkunku’s penalty that gave Milan the lead, which came at 49′ thanks to a naivety by Amorim, the Rossoblù fans threw several objects onto the field.
Referee Sozza, who stopped the game for a few minutes to wait for the smoke to clear, picked up and showed a coin thrown from the stands onto the field. The object had fallen close to Sozza’s assistant.
The match then resumed as normal with Allegri’s team still leading 1-0.
