What happened in the finale of the Brazilian Grand Prix is causing discussion.
Red Bull repeatedly asked Max Verstappen to allow himself to be overtaken by teammate Sergio Perez, who was fighting for second place in the world championship, but the Dutchman went straight for it.
After the checkered flag, the world champion thundered over the radio, “I already told you last time. You must not ask me such things anymore. Do I make myself clear?”
Perez, who after always running as a faithful squire hoped to receive at least two moreover useless points for his teammate, let slip a “he is showing what he really is.”
