After the Italian Grand Prix weekend, with the Mugello victories of Raul Fernandez in the Sprint and Marco Bezzecchi in the Sunday GP, MotoGp immediately flies to the Balaton Park circuit, where the Hungarian Grand Prix will be held next weekend. Among the first to launch the challenge is Fabio Di Giannantonio, the only Ducati rider to have exceeded 100 points in the standings and 39 lengths behind his former teammate at Team VR46, Marco Bezzecchi, now riding an Aprilia.

“Balaton Park is a very different track, perhaps opposite to Mugello – explained Di Giannantonio to the official channels of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team -. There is a lot of braking, it is very narrow and slow, so it will be important to have a stable bike under braking. Last year I had so much fun in Hungary, and we showed a very high level throughout the weekend.”

“With the charge we bring with us from Mugello and with the data we collected in Hungary in 2025, we aim to start from a very good base, do a good job and get back on the podium,” then concluded the Roman centaur, who at Mugello collected a third place in the Sprint race while finishing fifth in the long one.

A class of 1998, Di Giannantonio this season won his first GP, in Spain, riding the bike of the team founded by Valentino Rossi: a success, the one in Montmeló, which came two and a half years after the only previous one in the premier class, taken in Qatar at the time when he raced for the Gresini Racing team.
