NBA Finals, Donald Trump infuriates Knicks fans for Game 3

The New York Knicks are ahead 2-0 in the series with the San Antonio Spurs. After a 53-year wait, the Big Apple franchise could return to win the NBA title. Monday night marks the third act of the NBA Finals.
The game is being played at Madison Square Garden. In addition to the controversy over the ticket issue (the lowest cost of a ticket is around $7,000), another issue is being discussed: namely, the presence of Donald Trump at MSG to follow, live, the game.
Adam Silver, NBA commissioner, said he was excited about the idea of having the president of the United States at Game 3. Most Knicks fans, on the other hand, are not taking it well at all, in fact they hope Donald Trump will reconsider.
The Knicks are riding a 13-game winning streak in a row and are just two wins away from an NBA ring. No one wants anything to get jammed up right at the sweet spot. The president’s presence is seen as “intrusive” and, for some supporters, a possible source of bad luck. In short, they would prefer that he watch it from home but that will not be the case, as a plan is already being considered to ensure Donald Trump’s safety inside Madison Square Garden.
