Inter Transfer Market: Juve’s Offer for Frattesi Fails to Impress the Nerazzurri

Inter’s transfer market is always in flux, but to finalize certain deals, a major sale will first be needed. With this in mind, the name likely to break the deadlock in several negotiations could be Davide Frattesi.

In recent days, Nottingham Forest has re-emerged in the race for the Azzurri midfielder. The English club had already shown interest last January, when a loan deal with an option to buy was rumored, though that deal ultimately fell through. This time, however, the deal could be structured as a permanent transfer.

The feeling is that Frattesi’s time at Inter is now coming to an end. Furthermore, his departure would allow the Nerazzurri to secure valuable funds to reinvest in the transfer market. The Milan-based club has set his valuation at around 30 million euros, while Nottingham Forest would be willing to go as high as approximately 25 million. The gap is not insurmountable, but further discussions will be needed to reach an agreement.

It remains to be seen what the player’s wishes will be. While the prospect of the Premier League particularly appealed to him in recent months, the picture now appears more open. In the background, in fact, Juventus’ interest remains, a destination Frattesi is following closely. In addition to his admiration for Luciano Spalletti, the midfielder could also be drawn to the presence of new executive Giovanni Carnevali, a figure he knows very well from his time at Sassuolo.
