A back-to-back race is coming up for the MotoGP, which will first head to Brno from June 19–21 and then to Assen from June 26–28 for the ninth and tenth rounds of the 2026 season. Pecco Bagnaia heads into this double-header on a three-race podium streak, although two of those podiums came about in rather dramatic fashion due to crashes by other riders. In any case, he trails championship leader Marco Bezzecchi by 81 points.
“We’re heading to Brno on a high note—three consecutive podiums have really boosted our morale. I really love this track; it has a fantastic layout, just like the track at Assen, which will host the next GP right after this weekend,” Pecco said on the eve of the weekend in the Czech Republic on the factory team’s official website Ducati.
“These are two tracks that, in terms of their characteristics, are among my absolute favorites. I’m convinced I can make the most of the progress we’ve made with the Ducati Desmosedici GP on these two circuits; the goal is to build on that positive feeling and be consistent,” said Bagnaia ahead of the upcoming rounds at Brno and Assen.
