The Czech Republic and South Africa take the field at 6 p.m. (Italian time) in Arlington for their match on the second day of Group A play at the 2026 World Cup in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The two teams, both defeated in their opening matches, will face off: the Czechs lost to South Korea, while the Bafana Bafana fell to host nation Mexico in their debut match. The stakes are very high, as third place in the group is on the line: whoever loses is all but out.

Schick will once again be the offensive focal point for Hasek’s team, with Sadilek and Hlozek in the attacking midfield. In midfield, Soucek partners with Sojka, while Coufal and Zeleny will play on the wings.

Hugo Broos is relying on the Appollis-Foster attacking duo; Mokoena and Rayners could feature in midfield, with Mudau and Adams on the wings. In front of goalkeeper Williams are Okon, Sibisi, and Mbokazi.
