Binotto farewell: flat denial from Ferrari
Ferrari has denied rumors of divorce with current team principal Binotto
Ferrari with a note posted on social media and on its official website categorically denied a divorce with the current team principal of the Maranello-based stable, Mattia Binotto.
“In relation to the speculations that have appeared in some press organs regarding the position of the Scuderia’s Team Principal, Mattia Binotto, Ferrari informs that these are rumors totally without foundation,” this is the note from the Cavallino.
Rumors circulated in recent hours spoke of an alleged contact with Alfa Romeo team principal Frederic Vasseur, who would take over the red team’s principal position from 2023. Maranello’s denial, however, immediately extinguished the rumors.
Ferrari was founded in 1947 by Enzo Ferrari, in Maranello, in the province of Modena. It is involved in the Formula One world championship, where it holds the record for the number of world Constructors’ titles won (16), and in the FIA Sport Prototypes and Endurance world championships. The official symbol is that of the prancing horse on a yellow background, the color representing the city of Modena.
