Pecco Bagnaia returns to the top step of the podium for the first time since the 2025 Malaysian Sprint, and he does so in another short race: the Czech Republic Grand Prix at the Brno circuit. For the Piedmontese rider, it was a commanding victory, achieved by keeping a combative Ai Ogura—who started from pole position—at bay; Bagnaia overtook him early on and thwarted all of his attempts to retake the lead before the finish line.

The Ducati rider and the Aprilia Trackhouse rider finished ahead of Marc Marquez (another factory Ducati rider), who came in third. Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) finished fourth, and Jorge Martin (Aprilia) fifth. Martin’s teammate, World Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi, crashed with two laps to go while running in fifth place. The rider from Romagna remains the leader in the World Championship standings, however.
