Jannik Sinner continues to set records, and not just on the court. The world No. 1 is, in fact, the athlete most followed and searched for by Italians online, confirming that tennis is enjoying an unprecedented surge in popularity in our country.

This is confirmed by an analysis conducted by the Taboola platform, which examined online page views over the past 90 days. Content dedicated to Sinner has reached 13 million views, a figure that attests to the enormous interest generated by the South Tyrolean champion following his latest extraordinary results on the tour.

Close behind him is another all-Italian surprise. Flavio Cobolli, in fact, holds second place with 2.2 million page views. This result was driven by the exceptional surge in popularity following his semifinal appearance at Roland Garros, which caused online interest in him to skyrocket by 500%, as reported by *La Gazzetta dello Sport*.

The rankings also include Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, while Formula 1 World Championship leader Kimi Antonelli appears in fifth place with approximately 1.1 million page views. The top ten also features two other Italian tennis stars, Matteo Berrettini and Matteo Arnaldi. Between them is the only soccer player in the top ranks, Lionel Messi, who remains a star at the World Cup at age 39.

The analysis highlights another significant finding: tennis currently attracts more interest in Italy than international soccer. Over the past three months, the third World Cup without the Italian national team has totaled approximately 3 million page views from Italian users. Wimbledon, on the other hand, reached 3.8 million page views, while Roland Garros recorded as many as 7.2 million, confirming the growing enthusiasm for tennis.
