It’s been a hectic few days for Milan, which is working intensively on player transfers in anticipation of the final two signings the Rossoneri hope to secure before the end of the summer transfer window (a center back and an attacking midfielder). The goal is to recoup over 100 million euros to reinvest, at least in part.

Santiago Gimenez is about to leave the Rossoneri for good. After a very disappointing year and a half, the Mexican forward has reached an agreement with Porto; the deal will close for around 20 million euros. Christoper Nkunku is also very close to leaving: in addition to Premier League clubs, his former team, Leipzig, is among the interested parties. The Rossoneri are open to a loan but want a mandatory buyout clause set at 35 million euros.

Samuele Ricci is not part of Amorim’s plans and will be sold: Como is strongly interested in him; Milan will consider any offer close to 20 million euros. The other midfielder deemed surplus to requirements by Amorim is Youssouf Fofana, who is in demand in the Premier League and La Liga: the Rossoneri want to recoup at least 20 million euros from his sale.

In defense, keep an eye on Tomori: Milan values him at 15 million euros, and Juventus is also interested in him in Italy. Warren Bondo has attracted interest from Ligue 1, with Rennes and Lens interested, but only on loan. Odogu is also heading out on loan, having signed with Toulouse.

Good news also comes from a player Milan has already sold, Tijjani Reijnders: the Dutch midfielder’s transfer from Manchester City to Al Qadsiah allows the Milan club to earn €14 million, thanks to a clause in the deal.

The Rossoneri thus have more than 100 million euros at their disposal to make their final two major signings. Rafael Leao is not included in these plans: the future remains uncertain for the Portuguese star, whom Amorim has not ruled out but at the same time no longer considers indispensable to the team. So far, the player has only attracted interest from Galatasaray and a few Arab clubs, but he no longer seems as determined to leave as he was before the World Cup.
