Austria-Italy, the probable formations
Likely lineups
After a 3-1 thrashing of Albania, Italy returns to the pitch for its second friendly match with Austria, scheduled for Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. in Vienna.
Roberto Mancini confirms the 3-4-3 seen with Albania with a few minor changes: in defense Acerbi will take the place of Bastoni and Gatti will take over from Bonucci; midfield confirmed with the exception of Tonali, who will give way to Barella after suffering a shoulder injury; up front the novelty is Politano in place of Zaniolo.
Ralf Ragnick relies on the 4-2-3-1. In defense besides the immovable Alaba will play Posch, a defender from Bologna. And to keep with the red-blue theme there in front will be Marko Arnautovic, with Sabitzer behind him. Baumgartner and Kainz will be the two offensive outfielders.
