Christos Mandas could become one of the players to watch in the final days of the Juventus transfer window. The Greek goalkeeper for Lazio, born in 2001, is highly regarded by Luciano Spalletti and his staff and could become a viable option should Juventus need to make another move in goal.

Everything will depend on the departures of Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin. The arrival of Guglielmo Vicario has, in fact, profoundly altered the Bianconeri’s goalkeeping hierarchy, effectively sidelining Di Gregorio from the team’s plans. The former Pordenone and Monza player is looking for a new home and, in recent hours, has reportedly been approached by both Bournemouth and Lazio.

Di Gregorio’s transfer to Rome, in particular, could be linked to Mandas’s future. The Greek goalkeeper has admirers at Continassa, and if Juventus were to lose Perin as well, it would become necessary to find a new backup goalkeeper behind Vicario. In this scenario, the Lazio goalkeeper’s profile could quickly gain traction.

Perin’s situation, in fact, also remains in flux. Palermo has made decisive moves in recent days and has no intention of letting go. His potential departure, combined with Di Gregorio’s, would force Juventus to step in to rebuild the goalkeeping unit.

This potential domino effect was triggered by Vicario’s arrival from Tottenham. The goalkeeper has joined Juventus on a free loan through June 30, 2027, with an option to buy set at 8 million euros plus an additional 2 million tied to certain performance targets. A deal that has given Spalletti a new starting goalkeeper while simultaneously opening up several scenarios for the other goalkeepers on the roster.
