The 92nd edition of the Omega European Masters, one of the DP World Tour’s historic events, kicks off in Crans-Montana. The tournament features a high-caliber field, with 11 players ranked among the top 20 in the Race to Dubai.

Among the top contenders for the title are Patrick Reed, Eugenio Chacarra, Casey Jarvis, and Jayden Schaper, all of whom have already won twice this season. All eyes are also on Sergio Garcia, David Puig, and Adrian Meronk.

There is a strong Italian contingent, with eight Italian players in the field: Edoardo Molinari, Guido Migliozzi, Matteo Manassero, Stefano Mazzoli, Renato Paratore, Francesco Laporta, Filippo Celli, and Gregorio De Leo.

The European Masters also marks the second event of the “Back 9,” the series of tournaments that will determine the order of merit, award the 100 cards, and determine the 70 players who will advance to the Finals.

Defending the title will be South African Thriston Lawrence, who previously won at Crans-Montana in 2022. All eyes will also be on the evergreen Miguel Ángel Jiménez, who is set to reach his 725th appearance on the Tour. A total prize pool of $3.75 million is up for grabs.
