Eugenio Chacarra wins the DP World India Championship and becomes the new leader of the Race to Dubai. The Spaniard finished the tournament in New Delhi with a total score of -21, two strokes ahead of Daniel Hillier, securing his third victory of the season on the DP World Tour and his fourth career win on the European Tour.

The final day was particularly long for Chacarra, who was forced to play 25 holes in seven hours after the third round was suspended due to darkness. Resuming play on Sunday morning, the 26-year-old finished the round with three birdies on holes 12, 14, and 15 and an eagle on 18, carding a bogey-free 63 that gave him a five-stroke lead heading into the final round.

In the fourth round, Chacarra made two birdies on the first three holes before losing part of his lead. A bogey on the 6th and a comeback by Daniel Hillier reignited the competition, but the Spaniard managed to hold onto the lead thanks to some key pars, including one on the 12th with a putt from over ten meters and one on the 16th after an excellent approach shot.

With a final round of 70, Chacarra secured first place at -21, becoming the first player to achieve three wins in the 2026 DP World Tour season.

The victory comes on the heels of a third-place finish at the French Open and a second-place finish the previous week in Spain. These results allow him to overtake Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy in the Race to Dubai standings ahead of the November playoffs.

Behind him, Daniel Hillier finished second at -19, while Adrian Meronk and Angel Hidalgo tied for third at -15.
