Serie B: Brescia smiles, restrain others
Brescia smiles, all other top-ranked formations brake.
An anomalous Sunday for Serie B, with the big names in the standings struggling to score. All except Brescia, which takes advantage of the slowdown of the others and rises to 23 points, joining Genoa, defeated in Perugia, in third place.
For the biancazzurri lombardi came a 2-0 home win against Spal, with goals in the first half signed by Aye and Mangraviti. Only a draw for leading Frosinone, which at home against Cagliari collects a 2-2 draw decided by the penalty in extremis scored by Lapadula. Earlier, the guests had scored with Luvumbo in the opening match, Rohden and Insigne had signed the ciociara comeback.
The same result also for Reggina, forced to a 2-2 home draw by Benevento in the lunch match (penalty by Hernani and Canotto for the hosts in the first half, guest comeback in the second half with goals by Improta and Acampora). Bari also draws in the away match in Como (1-1 with two penalties, by Cerri for the hosts and Botta for the “biancorossi” in the dying minutes). A point apiece also for Cittadella and Cosenza (1-1) and Sudtirol and Ascoli (2-2).
