2026-2027 Serie A: Parma vs. Udinese—Probable Lineups and Where to Watch It on TV

Parma and Udinese, two teams in the midst of a serious slump, will face off in one of the midweek Serie A matches scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. For their respective coaches, Alberto Gilardino and Kosta Runjaic, the match at the “Tardini” feels like a make-or-break moment: the 2006 World Cup champion has suffered three losses in as many games, while the German coach has racked up six losses in his last six games, significantly complicating the situation for the Friulians.

Gilardino is determined to stick with the 3-5-2 formation but will move Delprato back to join Troilo and Ndiaye in defense. In midfield, on the wings, Britschgi and Valeri will start, with Bernabé as the playmaker. Up front, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Romero is a sure starter, while Lontani has the edge over Frigan in the pre-match lineup battle. The Ducali are looking for their first points since September 20, when the team—then coached by Carlos Cuesta—secured its first and, so far, only league victory by beating Genoa 2-1.

On the other side, Runjaic, in addition to a slump in results, must deal with absences: Gueye, Bayo, Alaba, and Solet will not be among the players called up for the away match in Parma due to injury. Compared to the last match—a 0-2 home loss to Milan—the coach, born in 1971, is expected to start Nicolò Zaniolo rather than Chakvetadze in the attacking midfield role alongside Ekkelenkamp, with Keinan Davis confirmed as the lone striker. In midfield, Miller is favored over Piotrowski, who started against the Rossoneri.
