Juventus Transfer Market: A Positive Sign for Those Hoping for Antonio Conte’s Return

Manchester United is taking its time and, at least for now, reaffirms its confidence in Michael Carrick. This is a temporary decision, largely dependent on the results the Red Devils manage to achieve in their upcoming matches. The season remains challenging, and management is searching for a solution to turn the team around, evaluating various candidates for the coaching position.
Among the names linked to the English club was Antonio Conte, considered a possible candidate to try to turn around what has been a disappointing season so far. The club’s latest moves, however, seem to point in a different direction: according to rumors, United executives have taken steps to protect themselves in anticipation of a possible move for Eddie Howe. This is a sign that, indirectly, reinforces the theory that Conte is inclined to wait for Juventus.
Among the candidates being evaluated by the Red Devils, Eddie Howe—the former Newcastle manager—stands out. His career trajectory has led him to be regarded as one of the most promising coaches on the British scene. His work has been distinguished by his team organization, the intensity of his style of play, and his ability to get the best out of the players at his disposal.
Howe left Newcastle in July, despite still having a long-term contract. The club then chose to bring in Jaissle, a German coach known for a style of play characterized by intense pressing, quick vertical passes, and a high tempo.
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle had taken precautions in case their former manager returned immediately to the bench at a rival club. Any such agreement would reportedly include compensation of up to six million pounds. For Manchester United, therefore, the move would involve not only hiring a new manager but also a potential additional financial outlay.
