Milan Transfer Market: Gerry Cardinale Immediately Teases a New Signing

Milan owner Gerry Cardinale reiterated the Rossoneri ownership’s ambitions ahead of the derby against Inter. “My goal is to bring Milan back to the top of Italian and European soccer. When I arrived here, I realized the legends who have played for this club, and we also want to forge partnerships to bring the club back to the top,” he told Sky Sport.
Cardinale then expressed his confidence in Amorim: “He’s my coach; we have a great rapport, and he’s doing a fantastic job. He’s helping the players grow, and I’m happy with the choice we made.”
The Rossoneri’s top executive also spoke about transfer strategies, confirming his intention to be active in every window: “I’ll be active in every window; there will be an announcement shortly. I always want to be active, trying to take advantage of every opportunity. I want to bring the club back to the top of Italian and European soccer.”
The announcement Cardinale is referring to is expected to concern Markus Krösche, who is set to become Milan’s new Head of Football. An agreement for a multi-year contract has reportedly already been reached, following the green light from Eintracht Frankfurt. The official announcement is expected in early December.
Finally, Cardinale commented on the new stadium project, which Milan and Inter will carry out together: “It’s a partnership; there is the utmost respect for Inter. For my part, I want to contribute the best of my financial expertise to ensure we have a top-tier stadium.”
