Torino, two Moroccan players in the crosshairs: who they are

Morocco, which has made it to the round of 16 of the World Cup where it will face Spain, has attracted the attention of a number of market men: among them those of Torino, who are particularly evaluating two elements of the African selection, Sofiane Boufal and Azzedine Ounahi, both from Angers. The former is an offensive outside player capable of jousting on both flanks. Very gifted in dribbling, he is a product of the Angers Ligue 1 team’s youth academy, and has experience in the Premier League and La Liga, where he played with the shirts of Southampton and Celta Vigo.
Ounahi, a midfielder born in 2000, grew up in Strasbourg’s youth sector, and after a year at Avranches made his Ligue 1 debut in 2021 with Angers.
