Origi in the pits, Ibrahimovic not yet ready
Milan will be on the scene on Jan. 4 at the Salernitana pitch. Pioli is grappling with several problems, especially on the offensive end. Origi is again in the box, Ibrahimovic is not yet ready, and Giroud, after missing the World Cup final, will take a few days off and will only return to training with Milan next Dec. 28.
There would be young Lazetic but it seems unlikely that he will be able to play as a starter from the first minute. Instead, one solution could be to play with Rebic as a false new, so as to have more unpredictability in attack (and not keep asking Giroud for overtime). Undoubtedly, Milan badly needs to have all its strikers available again.
