NBA: LeBron James sees record but Lakers fall again
LBJ at -36 points short of Jabbar’s record
James’ run toward the all-time, every-era record for points in NBA history is increasingly in the thick of it. Against New Orleans, King James scored 27 more points. They were not enough to allow his LA Lakers to take home the victory (131-126 the final for the Pelicans) but they brought LBJ within -36 points of Jabbar’s record.
Among the other games, of note was the LA Clippers’ victory, after an overtime, over New York (134-128). Milwaukee also did well, winning its challenge with Chicago (123-115, 35 points for Antetokounmpo). Golden State also won: 119-113 against Dallas but Curry was forced out with injury (21 total points). Finally, suffered success, in a sprint, by Brooklyn over Washington (125-123).
